Practice Information

Psychotherapy is most effective when sessions happen on a regular basis. This is because your body and mind are wise -- they know that vulnerable or painful issues need a consistent space in which to work on them. Regular sessions can build the kind of trust your whole system needs in order to work through challenges.

I usually see clients weekly, although I occasionally have the capacity to schedule every other week if we decide together that it makes sense.

Sometimes in therapy, things can feel worse before they feel better. The work can bring up painful feelings, and you might feel sad, anxious, or tired after sessions. My goal is not to prevent you from having these feelings, but rather to ensure that you don't feel overwhelmed in a way that makes it hard for you to go about the rest of your day. A core part of my job is ensuring the pace of the work is right for you, and I invite feedback from my clients if something is not quite working.

I have the capacity to meet with clients either online or in my office in Winooski. I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, MVP, United, Optum, and Green Mountain Care/Medicaid. If you do not have one of these insurances, I offer a sliding scale of $90-$120 for my session fee. I can also provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance company if you are covered out of network.
